As a webmaster, we need to check if a website has some css issues with most (if not all) browsers. There are different issues and different solution depending on which browser you choose. However, I find Internet Explorer 7 and below have more often a css issue than any other browser. Although IE8 or the latest version has no (or little) issue, still most people use lower versions. I am not sure why though, but for me IE8 is better and faster.
But anyway, we can not argue if our client’s or his friends still use the older version. All we have to do is code it right and use a IE tester. Before, I have been using some online IE tester but it only captures an image of the front page. And since its an image, you can not explore the lower section of the page as well as the other pages of the site.
The good thing is I found this free software. It’s free WebBrowser that allows you to view and explore the site’s pages in IE9 preview, IE8, IE7, IE 6 and IE5.5 on Windows 7, Vista and XP, as well as the installed IE in the same process.
